Aimtec launches a family of isolated half brick DC-DC converters to meet growing demand for intermediate bus converters in industrial, railroad, datacom and telecommunication applications.  The AMxxHB-UZ family of power supplies produces up to 200W of power at an efficiency rate of up to 90% within an ambient temperate range of -40 to +85°C to meet the rigorous demands of industrial applications, amongst others. The wide 2:1 bus input ranges of 18-36V, 36-72V and 66-160V generate isolated (1500VDC), nominal single outputs that range from 2.5V to 48V with fixed-frequency switching, which minimizes internal power dissipation and provides the products high conversion efficiencies.  

The AMxxHB-UZ family comprises 5 series; AM50HB-UZ, AM75HB-UZ, AM100HB-UZ , AM150HB-UZ and AM200HB-UZ, featuring output voltage trim-up or trim-down range of 10%, providing users with the ability to change output voltage or current.  All models incorporate on/off control with positive logic, remote sensing to compensate voltage drops in the load leads, over temperature protection, short circuit protection to provide superior reliability and high performance, all with a low cost of acquisition to system designers.
